Third Eye Opener
Many people are curious about the so-called “third eye.” They want to know what it’s like to see the ghosts of dead people. But the idea of opening the third eye brings chills to a lot of people. Though many are willing, they can’t stand the thought of seeing ghosts. What they want is a “switch” for them to open or close their third eye at will. Opening the third eye is interesting, but the truth is that most people seek the third eye for the wrong reasons.

Spiritual Sense
People who are curious about the third eye and opening or closing it should be aware that the extrasensory powers that they often hear to be associated with it are merely the result of entering a higher spiritual state-in other words, a state of consciousness that is a step up from what people normally experience. An effort to open the third eye simply for the selfish expression of psychic abilities is not the way to go and you will only lose yourself in a turbulent supernatural and paranormal sea that may do more harm than good because of a lack of spiritual understanding and preparedness.
For those curious about opening their third eye, they have to realize that it is just a small part of a deeper process with a purpose that encompasses trivial personal desires. Opening the third eye should not be done simply because you want to see ghosts and experience other supernatural stuff just for kicks. You must realize that the ability to see into the spirit world is better for those already attuned to higher levels of spirituality. This is the reason why men and women who associate more with things spiritual are more likely to have the ability to sense with their third eye than others who identify more with the physical world.
Close to Spirit
The third eye does not only allow a person to “see” things like ghosts. With the third eye, one may be able to experience the spirit world with the other sense faculties. Each of the physical senses actually has a counterpart in the spirit world and these are all accessible through the third eye. To say that one has his or her “third eye” open also means that the other senses (smell, taste, touch, and hearing) that also operate in the spirit world are also open or active. It is important to remember that the opening of the third eye is not to be considered an end goal. You have to look beyond that-beyond any selfish desire to have paranormal powers. You have to grow spiritually and be mature enough to handle your “gift” of spiritual sight.
