Top Things a Guy Needs His Freshman Year at College

The first year away from home at college can be very difficult.  Planning for it can be even scarier.  So be sure not to forget these key items and you will be of and running to a great freshman year.

• Towel
• Soap/ Body Wash/ Shampoo
• Sneakers
• Pens or pencils and plenty of notebooks
• cell phone
• cash

These are the essentials!  You never want to be stuck without the “equipment” necessary to take a shower.  being the smelly kid is not a good way to start the year off.

Sneakers are needed because you don’t want to be the one person who can’t go play basketball because you forgot your shoes at home.  Plus these can be worn most places in all kinds of weather.

Even though you are away from Mom and Dad….This is still school after all.  Going to class and not having paper and pens to take notes with is a cardinal sin.

Cell phones are the center of everyone’s social life at college and without it you will be left out of many activities, parties, and even meals!

Cash Money! It is always good to have a little bit of cash on hand even i you

have a credit card.  This allows you to be spontaneous and not worry about being able to buy your own food if you are out somewhere with friends!
