Since the tragedy of 11 September 2001, the United States have compiled a list of key Al-Qaeda suspects who are in charge. Many of them were captured or killed, including Osama Bin Laden, while new ones came into sight. Here are the top 3 of the remaining fugitives, made by BBC.

Ayman al Zawahiri: Egyptian doctor, 60 years old, who was one of the leading members of the movement for ”Islamicjihad” in Egypt, before meeting Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan. Zawahiri was Bin Laden’s deputy and co-founder of Al-Qaeda network. Reward offered for his capture is 25 million dollars.

Abu Yahya al Libi: Known as Qayid Hasan or Yunis al-Sahrawi, was a member of the Libyan Islamic fighting group, before allying with bin Laden. It would have spent five years studying theology in Mauritania, in the 90s. Libi claims that he was captured by Pakistani forces in 2002 and sent to a U.S. military base in Afghanistan, where he escaped in 2005.

Khalid al Habib: Egyptian or Moroccan nationality, he was identified in 2005 as a field commander in south-eastern of Afghanistan, taking total command a year later. Analysts argue that he operates under false identities.
