Tornado AND Storm an America Issue

April 27th, 2011 was one of the most difficult days in the history of United States of American. That was the day that massive storms and tornadoes swept across many homes across  state of Alabama, most particularly Tuscaloosa.  This storm front stole lives and leveled towns. Many were killed, even more injured; homes were completely destroyed; and entire neighborhoods and towns were erased in moments.Adding to the confusion was the fact that thousands were without power for days, even weeks. Many residents had no choice but to live off of granola bars and bottled water. They were unable to take or offer warm showers to survivors, cook for themselves or others, or even purify water. This wasn’t because their homes were destroyed, but because they simply had no way to run the necessary appliances. Simply put, many of us depend entirely on power plants to supply us with the energy we need. Without it, they were  ill prepared.
