I’m a nightly watcher of the show Nancy Grace. There is a story on there now about a woman possibly trafficking her five year old daughter out. Her five year old daughter is now dead. My heart goes out to what this little girl had to face, to her daddy whom is just devastated, and the rest of the little girls family. This brought me to a search and saddly what I found was horrible.

I learned that 50% of thosed trafficked out are children. 70 to 80% trafficked are females. 70% of all trafficked are for sexual purposes. The number of people (child and adult) trafficked into the United States in a years time is in between 14 and 18 thousand.

This information sickens me. The sad thing is the statistics are probably not accurate because there are so many cases that probably never comes to justice. My heart breaks. I hope anyone caught in such an act gets the maximum possible whether that be death penalty or life in prison. I don’t usually share my opinion on stuff like whether death penalty is right or wrong because sometimes I just don’t know how I feel. Thinking that people can have children and be willing to sell them for sex makes me think the death penalty is a great thing. So feel free to tell me how horrible I am for thinking that way. I am a christian, just kind of wonder if the eye for an eye thing should be today.
