Tribalism Do You Want to Try It?
My views on Tribalism and todays modern flawed society.
Tribalism do you want to try it?
Tribalism is accepted as the first civilised society that man lived in, Tribalism has been described as “Primitive Communism” there have been similarities between a “Commune” and Tribalism. I have over the years done some research on the way a Tribe co-existed, Of course any way of life or philosophy is flawed but Tribalism appears to be the most ground routes upwards way of living with your fellow man in peace.
The best example of the way Tribalism works, is to think of a fire, a huge fire constructed by several citizens. This fire is in the centre of a gathering of simple huts instead of each individual hut constructing a fire to keep warm and cook food, one huge fire is constructed and because the flames are higher and hotter cooking food is quicker. The heat thrown out from the joint fire warms the inside of the huts.

Why does mankind want to live together? The simple answer is protection several families standing together is more formidable to an aggressor than one family. Man is a social ape man needs to enjoy the company of fellow human beings to live a happy life.
A group of hunters stalking prey is likely to corner the prey and be successful in capturing the prey. These are the building blocks of a society as explained to me through my college days. Man needs heat, food, shelter, and companionship. Everyone who is excepted into a tribe needs and must bring a useful talent to the tribe, whether it be hunting or building or growing vegetables or even caring for young children.
As a member of a tribe you must contribute to the society by what ever means you can. Myself being an Engineer I would offer these qualifications and experience to the tribe. In return I would receive a place around the fire and the protection of the tribe, and a share of the food for me and my partner.

You would get on so well with my hubby. He would be in complete agreement with everything you have said. I am of the feeling that if a human needs help, providing they have tried to find a way out of their situation for themselves, I would give it. I do agree, however, that there are many who take advantage of the state. A very good read.

Here in the colonies it’s called working the system. The more babies a girl has the greater her state income and she knows that. Liberals in the legislature and congress started that crap and now it’s so ingrained it can’t be stopped.

a well-presented post. And I do agree on some of your points. Though I may say there isn’t a perfect society, Tribalism offers a more concrete program. Yes, each individual must in one way or another must contribute his talent to have in return the society’s privileges. Those whom you say just spent much of their time watching television must be penalize. However, we should give them chances to change before expelling them from the fire.

The ethos of tribalism is based on collective contribution, failure to be a part of that system is look down by the members of the group and by the peers. Being from tribal community, I very much agree with your opinion.
