True Beauty
There are different perspectives about what it is to be truly beautiful. This is my definition.
What defines beauty?
I feel that I have encountered many in my life that I can say possess physical beauty. But how many can we really say are truly beautiful, the way God intended beauty to shine?
There are too many in this world and too many just surrounding us who possess beauty that goes only skin deep. And like anything else that is too thin, that type of beauty is easily permeable and may dissolve in our eyes over time. Many fail to realize in the beginning because our eyes deceive us, but time will prove that the physical facade is there to disguise what will inevitably be shown. What awed us at one point will later be a mere mask; it is like the polish that tries to make the dull shine.
People, boys and girls alike, grow more beautiful as time passes as their inner beauty slowly is exposed. The beauty that is only skin-deep, which is so highly valued in our culture, goes only so far when it comes to relationships of any sort. And relationships, whether it is friendship or romantic, is one of the necessities for an enriched human life.

I totally agree with this view of what true beauty is. A lot of people have erroneously believed that beauty ends with just the outward appearance. It is soul-deep.
