Turkey “Appalled” by The Report of The Committee on Israeli Attack on a Convoy

Turkey has said also that the report of the Special Commission of Inquiry in the incident, which occurred on May 31 – which was handed over to a commission of inquiry UN in September – concluded that the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip and the “attack on a convoy of humanitarian aid” violated international law.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement: “Our Committee is surprised and stunned and consternation that resulted after the process of the national investigation in Israel for acquittal of the Israeli armed forces, despite all the facts confirmed by the international fact-finding mission.”
She added, “Israel’s attack on a convoy of humanitarian aid, which violated international law in time of war and peace time also carried out in a manner surpassed all principles and laws and international norms.”
The statement said Israel’s decision to the announcement of the results reached by the Committee prior to delivery to the United Nations “not constructive” and because of that has decided to publicly disclose the results of its investigations.

Turkey and demanded that Israel apologize for the attack, and compensation for losses. Israel has rejected that.
