Ukraine Go to Eu… What About Russia?

Luis Amado – Vice Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – said the Ukrainian minister Konstantin Gryshchenko, that a country like Portugal is behind the fact that Ukraine has successfully integrated into the EU.
He told that 24 September 2010 at the 65th session in New York for UN General Assembly.
At this meeting the two heads of external relations agreed that the need to strengthen relations between Portugal and Ukraine, as well as the fact that the European Union will be stronger if it enters this country.
Has long been a conversation in the economic sphere: discussing the pros and cons of the Portuguese business in the country with its capital Kiev.
Came the findings that both countries will continue to cooperate in international organizations together.
With regard to another topic: the previous day, September 23, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych vote, that Ukraine intends to join the European Union, but with future support strong ties with Russia, not to disrupt the transit of energy resources to the West.
