Unemployed
There are a number of different factors which effect whether we are able to get a job or not.
Unemployment is a serious problem, The stigma is that unemployment only effects people who really don’t want a job. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Unemployment has no boundarys, and effects every person in a different way. When someone is not able to find a job we are the ones that pay for their unemployment checks. It’s part of the taxes we pay. Their are many who have fallen on hardtimes, Unable to find employment because of circumstances. Their are many that take advantage of the system that was created to help them. Sometimes they are able to work the system for years before someone figures out what they are doing. Their are company’s that pay for day labor, But the majority who try day labor find out their is little work due to their being so many applicants. Most places expect a candidate to be available anytime of the day. Sometimes you sit for hours waiting for a call, Most of the time the phone never rings. I will be the first to admit i would not have the patience to sit for hours waiting for a chance at getting work. I was unemployed for six months, Causing me to become depressed. I spent hours daily turning in applications. The problem with our economy has to do with more people than their are jobs. I do believe if you really try eventually you will find a job. You just have to be willing to take negatives and turn them into opportunitys.
