Tap project has been running for five years

For five years, UNICEF has been running the Tap project which aims at increasing accessibility to clean drinking water for millions of people in more than 100 third world countries. The project was launched in New York in 2007 aimed at restaurant patrons who were required to donate a dollar each towards the tap project and has raised 2.5 million dollars in the US alone.
Celebrities have joined UNICEF to try and save more children
Through the project, millions of children around the world have been saved and now celebrities have joined, ready to contribute even more to the same. Lets just hope these celebrities are not doing it just to make a name for themselves… Angelina aka Butt Lips only runs around picking up children from all round the world but have never seen her do anything good for society apart from her pro-creative respite to many men and women. I would say Ghetto Boy Akon is more philanthropic and has numerous charities which aid these kind of things… Jennifer Anniston from FRIENDS is also part of this project….
