Wal-Mart is changing the way it does business this year to reach out to more upscale shoppers by wider aisles, lower shelves and more elegant displays of pricey products. Wal-Mart’s affordable products during the hard economic times bring more costumers into the store causing the business upscale. I think that this plan is a good idea because the tough budget cuts, job cuts, and low on money will bring more costumers into the store. The wider aisles will help because more people are going to go into the stores. With all the wide variety of people the stores offer lower shelves to help the short adults and the elder. Also the elegant pricey products attract the expensive people that like to buy expensive looking products.
