US-Israel embarked Secret War on Iran?
United States and Israel are likely to be involved in a secret war against Iran. It was said several former U.S. intelligence official cited the Los Angeles Times, Sunday (12/04/2011).
The newspaper reported, a number of Iranian experts believe that the explosion at the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards in the Bid Ganeh last month is part of covert operations launched by the U.S., Israel, and a number of other countries in an effort to cripple Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
Great explosion at the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards on November 12 it had leveled most of the buildings and killed 17 people, including the founder of Iran’s ballistic missile program, General Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam.
According to the LA Times, the purpose of the secret operation was to weaken Iran’s efforts to have the ability to make nuclear weapons and to defend themselves from Israeli or U.S. air strike aimed at removing or weakening the threat (Iran’s nuclear weapons) it.
“It’s like a model of 21st century warfare,” the LA Times quoted Patrick Clawson, who led Iran Security Initiative at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
“There seems to be a war campaign of murder and cyber warfare, sabotage campaign was also recognized in part,” continued Clawson.
Such operations are usually highly confidential and anyone who knew it would not open his mouth, writes the daily.
For years the U.S. and its allies try to block Iran’s weapons program secretly supplying spare parts, design, or faulty software, says the LA Times. Indeed there is no evidence of sabotage, but the development of Iran’s nuclear program with clearly visible face many obstacles.
“We certainly do,” the newspaper quoted Art Keller, a former CIA man in charge for the Iranian issue.
“What do clear mission of counter-proliferation division (CIA) to do anything to hinder Iran’s weapons of mass destruction programs.”
Many Western experts believe that U.S. and Israeli experts secretly supplying Stuxnet computer virus into Iran’s nuclear program in 2010, says the LA Times. The virus was reported to cause centrifuges to enrich uranium spin out of control and destroyed.
Neither the U.S. nor Israel has not acknowledged any role in the cyber attacks.
