Views on Brutal Deaths of Murder: Should We Condemn or Justify?
Why people in society look at death and should it go on to be punished.
In today’s day in age everyone wants to see something bizarre on the Internet. We want to be right there in the moment. Let’s face it we all check out these sites every now and again.
I will not tell a lie, I have taken a gawk at these violent atrocities if only to find the unfathomable understanding for myself to relieve my inner sanctum.
But why exactly do we find ourselves so engrossed?
Could it be that we all have some reason to examine the connection between unconventional and extremely bizarre occurrences.
Something out of the ordinary perhaps.
Do we get up in the morning and realize this is consequential and have the need to justify The Dismemberment of body parts, machete attacks, brutal attacks on children, torch deaths, shootings execution style and many others?

For myself it is almost a wake up call, a way to cope with such barbaric situations and figure why things like this occur. Yes it is true it is painful to look at but by actually forcing myself to take a look I gain insight, while at the same time scrutinize with sorrow and sadness.
We as society are curious beyond all reality.
Many Internet websites and news media allow these gruesome acts of violence to be shown to the public. You would think people would refrain from dabbling their minds into all the madness so arbitrarily shown. Yet we keep searching in hopes of finding answers to fulfill why in our minds how such devastating life and death can be.
But it is also a strange fact that so many people choose to see these bizarre yet horrible acts for themselves. Still no matter how bizarre and horrible, People see the cruelty and in a sense feel the way these victims depicted in these random acts of violence must have felt. After watching these acts people feel a connection almost a reckoning.

It is almost like when a person is murdered and the forensics scientist is probing into the case and they need to find out all they can about the evidence of the situation so as to find the person responsible. We feel obligated to do this. After watching I feel dread and hatred. My feelings go from shocked to utter horror than I really sympathize with the victims.
I believe that people do not comprehend the full meaning of such crimes. So in turn they fall prey to the repulsive acts almost like were blindsided by it. People get caught up in the whole shock factor. It is something we do not think will happen or should happen. We see death, mutilation, terror and we get shocked, amazed, even dumbfounded. We fear the unexplainable, yet it is that fear that lure us back to the inevitable.
Does this necessarily mean we are sick or disgusting animals for choosing to witness such exploits.
I think some people who watch this like the perversity and are pleasured by the reactions they get out of it. This gives them a sense of excitement. This may not be such a refined way but it fulfills their curiosity. Others are just interested and feel a need to see and then they can express sadness, pity, sorrow and decide to forgive and or forget, even consciously condemn the murderers in their own way.
How can we resist to speculate or look at all of this when there is so much bloodshed, murder, and the media and the Internet, who leaks it to the public, and lays it out like a red carpet for all to see?
Is there a stopping point? I do not believe so. It is just too thrilling and mesmerizing for people who in today’s society are so curious and want justice for the poor victims of these awful crimes .
We remain controlled and scrutinizing by the brutal and inhumane murderers of which we are so curious about.

allow me to add my 2cents, [if you get 49 more people it equals a dollar =D] anywho… Death in itself is an interesting prospect. humans have an animalistic nature to them as well as civil, and the natural side yearsn for a control, to be all knowledgable in a sense. To be able to control the fate of another is a power people starve for, and most of the time get murdered or imprisioned after gaining such ability, that or merely breaking down the fear of commiting homicide then just enacting it.
What’s so interesting is that the ones who do fear it, enjoy to see it and fantasize in a sick way, some get grossed out and yet watch as you say, this is due to that natural urge. Humans are indeed animals [mammels to be exact, no?], like any animal even in its own race, supremecy is something we fight for, “the strong survive” is more then words.
Also is the sense of conviction we as humans have… we feel justice is in our hands and under our control, like in court, the life of the defendant rests with the jury and judge. We like to take matters into our own hands for control, possession, and power. When we feel something is atrocious by nature, we have the tendency to watch it again to keep ourselves in the vengeful, hateful mindstate in order to carry out the apprpriate vengence.

A very interesting article about a subject not a lot touch on.Excellent work! As they say curioisty killed the cat. Most people are very curious, it is in our nature, that is how we learn, that is how we invent but most of us also know the difference between right and wrong, those that murder and kill do not have a conscience or they are mentally sick or even worse both..
