Visas are available in three different categories:

A single entry to Canada Visitor Visa:

This allows you to visit Canada once (unless traveling to the United States or Saint Pierre and Miquelon) and is valid for a period of 6 months. You can request an extension of visitor visa to Canada if needed and will make an application for an extension of at least 30 days before maturity.

A multiple entry visa to Canada Visitor:

This allows you to enter and leave Canada on several occasions and is valid for a maximum of six months, according to the head of the prosecution history. A Transit Canada Visitor Visa:

This visa was originally designed for people entering Canada for a period of 48 hours or less. For example, if your mode of transportation in Canada must stop and that you are a country that requires you to have a visa to visit Canada, you will need a transit visa.

You are not permitted to work in one of the categories above Canadian tourist visas and some candidates may also need to obtain a temporary resident visa in addition to the above if they come from certain countries.
