Warning: Hypocrisy Ahead  

I wonder, why don’t we put the same kind of warning in tobacco on products that could kill? For example a cell phone, there is no prove connecting cell phones to brain cancer. But we all know it’s a possibility. It’s not like we are ignorant. Fast foods are one of the unhealthiest foods in the world. They don’t have a warning…Do they? Cars, trains and airplanes, they could kill you… and they don’t have a warning. It is true that the possibility of you dying in a vehicle accident is a lot less than with tobacco but it is still dangerous. Medicines, sometimes the side effect is ten times worse than the disease or condition. Why doesn’t this stuff have a warning? Oh, I know. Because the income from these thins is very high. Alcohol is another thing that could kill you.  Why would we tag something like tobacco with such affair but not other things that can also kill you? Most household cleaning products are extremely poisonous to us but we still use them. The number one thing killing people on the United States at the moment is cholesterol. Thousands die every year from a heart attack. Nothing is done to fix that. The food we consume that is supposed to be fresh and healthy is actually full of hormones, estrogen, chemicals or other things to improve growth or durability. Most of them is like your biting into a ball of rat poison. Nothing is done about that either. Don’t get me wrong, I do not approve the tobacco companies but I just don’t see why we should be hypocrite and only focus on the obvious. There are hundreds maybe thousands more things that could kill us other than tobacco and we don’t have any warnings or tags on them. But most people pretend that they do not know this. Out of ignorance or they just don’t want to believe. Why? Why would you ignore something that is threatening your life?  Guns are good to defend ourselves. But they knife cuts both ways. A gun in a house without a safe or a lock is a ticking time bomb.  There is no warning about that either…right? Why do you think that in the old days people lived longer, lived stronger and happier. Nothing like this existed. They ate healthy, worked hard and didn’t take thousands of pills every year. Why do you think children are going into puberty younger every decade? It is because of the foods we consume. Nothing is really “healthy” anymore. That word should be eliminated from the language. It’s meaning is gone. In a few hundred years, wars aren’t going to be for money or soil. They are going to be for water. We are going to run out.  We will have weeks maybe months a dearth of water. Why doesn’t our government warn us against all this harmful products? That is because money is out president and our rulers. Money controls the world no matter where you live. If we keep this up, we will not be alive for much longer.
