Wasps (White Anglo-saxon Protestants) Maintain The Status Quo
From the first English settlers the White Anglo-Saxon Protestants have continued the status quo with a few very wealthy WASPs owning and controlling government, religion, society while always identifying the underclass and placing blame upon the innocent and fame and riches upon the privilidged few.
WASPs have dominated the history of the United States. They have maintained control of the government and politics since the beginning. WASPs lead the westward expansion to achieve “Manifest Destiny” which was, of course, cast as God’s will that they control all of America from the Atlantic to the Pacific. They did not mind that others already claimed the territory. Native Americans (mostly non-Christian and of those who were Christian, were converted by Spanish, French and other European imperial Roman Catholic missionaries) were eliminated rather quickly as threats to taking the lands. WASPs moved south and west into Spanish territories, including Texas and most lands westward, including California. They did not seek permission in many cases. Finally, however, Moses Austin and his son Stephen sought and received a huge land grant from Spain which then had to be reworked after the people of Mexico overthrew Spanish rule. The White Anglo-Saxon Protestants who came to Austin’s colony agreed to become citizens of Mexico and to join the Roman Catholic Church. Those who actually got around to joining the Catholic Church continued to have preaching by their protestant leaders, however, and as new and more Anglos flowed into the territory, few even made an effort to be Mexican citizens or Roman Catholics, even in name only. And we know, I presume, that eventually, the WASPs took Texas away from Mexico. Shortly thereafter, unprovoked war with Mexico resulted in their acquisition of all the lands to the Pacific, including California.
Currently, the WASPs, after having lost some control to those who seem to think all people should be equal, are taking total control. Using ignorance and racism (a combination of the two are required of the WASP mentality) Americans have, in far too many numbers, succumbed to the propaganda that warps their minds into thinking that only White Anglo-Saxon Protestants are “worthy” of freedoms and rights guaranteed by the Constitution. They believe that poor people are poor by choice…why even the preachers say so. Our once great nation is now nearing a third world status while the very few extremely wealthy (many are hirelings or thieves or both and never worked a lick in their lives…not real work) enjoy without conscience the fruits of the masses of workers and out of work workers who made them so rich. This will not continue. There may be serious world shattering hardships and tragedies, but eventually, the rich on the pinnacle of power will have no place to get more wealth (excepting from each other). We are ruled by rich, arrogant people who simply buy what they want. They buy wars, recessions, government officials at all levels and everything they want. Most have never worked on a real job requiring actual physical labor and they will refuse to do it. They even pay (using taxpayer money) for people to fight our wars, never fearing that they or their loved ones will have to do it. It is interesting that most great empires, including Rome, reached the point that the rich and privileged had it all and they paid armies to conquer more territories for them…and they rotted from within.
Should we not examine ourselves before condemning all other religions and societies in the world. Rather than fighting among ourselves and following the pied pipers who lead us, should we not think, read and reason for ourselves? Should we turn off the television, twitter, etc. and read some books written in the past by great people about world events and people in history and learn from the past? It may not be too late.
