Watch Out for “Get-rich-scams”

Websites that offer you huge monetary reward for one thing: Your information. Watch Out for them!

“Get-Rich-Scams” always have a negative effect on the victim. They might sell your information to other companies which will ultimately lead to spam in your email and unnecessary junk mail. There is always a “catch” in the services they offer. Their main goal is to collect money. The more people they entice with their false promises is the more money they receive. Watch Out!

Never Provide Personal Information To Websites You Don’t Trust

Websites that “claim” they are going to provide you with “free services or products” and they ask for your credit card information- Watch Out! Usually they state that they want to verify your age with your credit card information and they won’t “charge” you it’s “completely free”. Most of the time it’s a hoax. Never give away your personal information such as your Social Security or credit card information to untrusted websites, they will literally rob you!

Look Out For The Signs

Most of the time, “get-rich-scams” have various signs that one can use to measure how legit a website or type of service is on the web.

  • “Make $1000s a day from home!”<—- Most of the time (if not all) offers like this are definitely fake, there is always a fee that they require and right after payment people then realize that it was a hoax. They provide false testimonials to entice the reader.
  • “Earn Millions With This Simple Trick!:<—- If you’ve ever seen this, 99.99% of the time it is fake! First of all, if this were the case, everyone would be investing in that idea because everybody wants to get rich! A lot of people will be discussing about it and it would be on the news and all over the Internet to show how legit it is! Again… WATCH OUT!
  • There is a lot more of them out there and more than 90% (if not all) of them are fake. They make false promises so that it attracts users and so that it convinces the reader to buy it. For them it’s “The more readers, the more money”.

Think For Yourself

Ask yourself : “Is this worth it? What if this is a scam, I won’t get back my money! This website will just run a long not losing a dime, but I will”. If you do happen to be caught up in the situation, think before you purchase or share your information. How will this affect you? Will it negatively or positively affect you? Others may say: “If I don’t try it, how will I know if it’s real?”. If you are thinking that, ask your self this: “Is it really worth putting your personally information at risk? Is it worth losing more money than you were thinking about gaining in the first place?” NO it is not! Remember, be smart and think about how the situation will affect you in the long run.

Most people will probably find that they definitely will not get rich over night! They realize that they just lost money. For the website that just scammed, all those people who lost money added up and they gained money instead! Always WATCH OUT for “Get-Rich-Scams”. Do your research, look up the company before purchasing what they have to offer. Who knows, maybe there are some legit “Gect-Rich” Deals, however, I have yet to see any. Usually the people who fall for such scams are lazy and greedy; looking for something easy and don’t want to work for anything.
