What is Wrong with the World We Live In?
On the life of dating, the problems it creates, and the growing problem that is our world. Experience and open your eyes to what is really going on in the world. Are you willing to make a change?
As many people are aware of, dating has become increasingly popular among teenagers. Most parents are unaware of the potential harm they are allowing their kids to experience. Due to their lack of discipline, teens around the world have raised the percentage of teen pregnancies, abortions, and even suicide.
Teens are extremely oblivious to the past. They want to experience life for themselves. Move away from their parents and live their own lives. And parents are allowing this to happen. I am not sure what is going on, but something needs to be done here. Parents are oblivious to their kids who are sexually active until it is too late. And than they tell their kids it is okay to get an abortion. And than, after listening to their parents advice, the teen goes into depression, not knowing where to turn, and eventually takes the pathetic way out of their ordeals and commit suicide. Than the cycle starts all over again. Is it me or should we not be concerned with what the next generation is learning.
Shouldn’t parents be the ones who are role-models for teens. Instead, they are growing up in their homes afraid to talk openly to their parents. They make celebrities and athletes on tv their role-models, copying everything they do. The way they act. Dress. Live. And yet, parents are so busy with themselves and becoming millionaires they can’t see what is going on.
So who is to blame? Do we blame the teens and their irresponsible decisions or do we blame the parents and their obliviousness? The truth is simple. Both are at fault. But in a society where sex, abortion, drugs, and alcohol are all perceived as normal, how can we expect kids to grow up differently. Our once great country has been crumbling under our feet, and no one seems to notice. As long as nothing significant happens in their life time, no one cares. Whatever happened to preparing the world for future generations? The preamble to the Constitution states that we are to insure the blessings of liberty to [not only] ourselves, but also the future. How will this generation be perceived in years to come? Will they look back on the twenty first century and say that was the time in history when the United States and its citizens changed for the good. Or will they simply wonder what we were thinking. Or maybe there won’t even be a future. Maybe we are so screwed up living in our own little world of earthly things that we have already doomed the future.
