If every state legalized marijuana lots of things would change for the good and for the bad. When we were young adults many of us tried marijuana. Some of us liked it and some of us tried it and said yuck to it. Texas is one of the states that have a law against marijuana. There are many people working on legalizing it for medical purposes only, such as cataracts, cancer, severe arthritis, and many other serious medical conditions.
There are those that oppose marijuana for the use of anything at all. The reason why they might oppose it is that it slows down the senses and causes misjudgment, as well as slowed reaction time, which may have caused a death in their family, friends, or just a random public citizen.
One might go as far as to say that marijuana effects different people in different ways, such as causing drowsiness, hyper tendencies, severe cases of the munchies (eating and won’t stop), may possibly arouse a person’s anger, and may cause uncontrolled laughter (laughing for no reason or laughing about something that isn’t even funny).
Legalization in every state to people without medical conditions and with medical conditions would change our economy if it were to be sold like a pack of cigarettes in stores, but with a higher tax attached to it, only because it would be a luxury to those without a medical condition, because it helps to ease severe pain.
Marijuana could possibly through everyone into a state of panic as it is a drug that has too many side effects. People would be high all the time. No work would get done. There would be a lot more violence because of the addiction combined with the side effects. Then again it may or may not turn us all into a bunch of laughing hyenas.
