When 3Rd World Countries are Devestated

       Haiti. A country with some of the most horrifying conditions. And people in Haiti have to cope with their hard lives everyday while we sit down at our desks with a cup of coffee and complain about things like our public service bill or the price of gas. We focus our lives on the media. Obsessing on what’s going on like the death of Michael Jackson or the affairs Tiger Woods was having. But when the earthquake that happened in Haiti flooded the news channels… Most of us turn our backs. We want to ignore real life problems and get back to our typical day. Yeah sure those things cross our minds. We think we have an idea of the things people have to deal with in Haiti. But do we really? Have we ever seen a dead body? How about hundreds of dead bodies getting loaded into trucks like sacks of potatoes. But then you stop and think. These people’s lives were horrible before the devastation. Starving children. Poverty leading to constant crime. Corrupt politics.

Come on people. Do we really need a devastation like this to occur just to realize people in 3rd world countries need help?
