When Does Life Start?
The question alot of us 20 something year-olds ask. When will my life start? When will I have the resources to be able to accomplish my dreams? For the older ones, do I still even have dreams?
I do not want to be one of those people. When did we start forgetting that that dream to be a “insert dream of choice here” still exists inside of us? That it is what makes us realize there is something in the mirror even when all we see are tired eyes and broken ideas? No. They still exist. It’s a matter of whether we are afraid or not to try. Maybe you won’t succeed. Maybe you think it’s too late because you are a stay at home mom with 6 kids, and you wonder where your life went. And you could try and fail, but I would much rather say that I tried and failed, than that I never tried at all. What about you? You firefighter. You artist. You architect. You doctor. You biologist. You social worker. You counselor. Isn’t it time you took just a little leap of faith?
