Why does Obama Criticize Denmark?
President of the USA, Barack Obama, criticized Denmark’s commitment to the Iraqis who are fleeing from the war in their homeland.
Denmark and other countries that participated in the US-led coalition in Iraq “has done woefully little to cope with refugee crisis and must be encouraged to do more” wrote Obama on his official website in an election papers on the war in Iraq.
He also criticizes the U.S. because they only accepted a small fraction of the 7,000 refugees the country has committed itself to house temporarily.

Offensive morals
The upcoming presidential denominator refugee crisis and national obligations in a presentation of its general policy on Iraq. Denmark was mentioned along with a group of other countries that have participated in the Iraq war including Great Britain, Holland, Italy and Spain.
The criticism is noteworthy, but it is difficult to assess whether it has consequences says the head of the Center for American Studies at
the University of Southern Denmark, Jørn Brøndal.
“Well, I don’t think so. It’s probably rather a sign that should tell people that in future we can expect a U.S.A. who seizes more morally offensive role. Obama is going to lead a more ethical approach than we are used to from the Bush administration” he says.

I am glad that Mr. Obama directed the criticism to the United States as well. This is something that needs to be addressed.

It would be interesting to find out why these Iraqis are fleeing their homeland. Are the Americans bombing their homes, making them homeless?

The Iraqis are fleeing their homeland because of the persecutions from their fellow Iraqis. If that problem is not solve more refugees will flood the western countries for assylum and economic opportunities.

I feel he was right but other countries need to bear responsibility as well.

Obama complaining again about others.
So the USA will be morally accountable? I can understand why Obama feels the need for more morals in peace.
The article below questions whether he really deserved the peace prize.
Did Obama deserve The Nobel Peace Prize?

Silentbob14: Thanks. I’m glad you thought so!
Karen Gross: I’m pretty sure that’s the case, Karen. But did Iraq ever do anything to the USA? I’m not sure.
Lapasan: That’s right and we don’t want that. Basically we want people to stay in their own country instead of filling up other countries. It’s like having 2 balloons and then taking the air from balloon 1 and then trying to put the air inside balloon 2. It won’t work and you won’t find space for all the air in the same ballon. Unfortunately, I can understand why so many families are fleeing from their homeland. War is a nasty and very dangerous thing.. Thanks.
Crisdiwata: Couldn’t agree more…
Leo Tolstoy: I think you’re right Leo.
Friendly Gummy Bear: I can understand that too. Thanks for your comment, I’ll check your article too.

Thanks for sharing. I think there is a need to keep watch on conflicting countries, nuclear warfare and all that, but war and hatred is not the way to peace. I hope someday soon the world can find solice and we can all live in harmony. This is my prayer for all. Namaste
