This is an article that I hope changes the way people buy dolls so freely. I intend to open peoples minds with this one. Check it out.

Why Teen Pregnancy is Vastly Growing

Over the past several years, teen pregnancy has been growing uncontrollably and it is one of the leading problems in America. Who is to blame for this?

1 word: Corporations

In the image above, there is a wooden doll baby who doesn’t do anything but it is something to play with. In 1959, the very first doll baby was created and it was not as creative as today’s dolls.

As you can see, these dolls do not really do seem to do anything but look pretty and be a toy to play with. As the years progressed, the doll became more “human like” and this is where the problems started…

I know a lot of people that buy these dolls for their toddlers and the way that you make the doll urinate is, they give the doll some water and it urinates. Now I do not know why corporations have decided to make dolls excrete but they have. As time progressed, sound effects and accessories were added to the dolls…

Now the dolls are crying, laughing and you are able to change its clothing, take them for walks in strollers and so much more.

So many children want children because they are blinded by the toys. They are under an assumption that playing with doll babies is going to be the same when it comes to real babies but it is totally different. You have to have your baby, you cannot go and buy a baby for $14.99 and turn it off when you please. I do blame parents partially because the parents are buying the dolls for their children. I constantly hear from my female cousins “I want a real baby” and “I wish this baby could do more”. I even see them act as if they are the parent of the “Toy”. This is the reason why teen pregnancy is growing. Babies want children just from playing with dolls.

I am mad at the fact that corporations do not care. They have to make money and feed their families just like us, but is it worth having another 247,000 abortions to come within 1 year over a doll?

Think about it…

Super article I love this awareness.I stillblame the parents for not sitting down with there children and disscussing sex before school does and frame there young minds that sex is specifically for marriage and young wemon should be taught by mom and dad that her gift is so preasious it should only be given the night of marriage because of what comes from sex along with self respect.Boys& men will say and do allmost anything just to get some.

This was a very interesting article. I can understand your point of view. I have seen a lot of teenage girls having babies. One of my best friends had one in high school and my cousin had one when she was about 16 or 17 too. It certainly does make sense that the dolls doing things that actual babies do. It will be a matter of time before it sinks in that a doll is not the same thing as having a baby.

Teen age pregnacy is growing every year. You used to seldom even hear of it but now every graduating class has its share of young mothers. Videos, movies, and the internet also have to share the blame, and mothers who push their girls to date early.
