Why The U.S. Wanted to Attack Iraq
We People of the United States of America must put an end to the greed of the owners and the controllers of multinational corporations before the "Recession of 2008" becomes the "Depression of 2008."
As far as I know, President Obama has no plans within the near future to prolong the fighting that is taking place within Iraq. However, President Bush, during his term as President of the United States of America, just needed the slightest excuse to wage an all out War against the Government and the people of Iraq. It was claimed that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, at a time when it was politically correct to search out and destroy Arab Terrorists wherever they might be.
Well, we got most of those Arab Terrorists, even if Osama bin Laden still remains at large and he is believed to be hiding somewhere within the hill region of Pakistan. Some believe that he was not killed or captured because President Bush needed a reason to continue to keep a military force within the Middle-East. To others, such an endeavor is nothing more than a waste of time and a needless loss of our brave members of our mighty armed forces.
Be that as it may, President Obama is willing to talk to the leadership of Iran, rather than wage another war for reasons that only President Bush can justify. If you remember, President Bush and his Administration nearly bankrupted the Treasury by waging two wars within the Middle-East. Both of which are still ongoing and both of which will soon come to an end if President Obama is truly a wise man and a man for his time, so to speak.
The war-like desires of President Bush is now causing the people within the United States of America to suffer within the worst economic depression since the days of “The Great Depression” of 1929 and those horrible years of the decade of the 1930s.
Very little more has been achieved in Iraq and in Afghanistan since we got most of those Arab Terrorists. Then again, more property is being destroyed and more people are being killed or injured on a daily basis; as the price for a barrel of crude oil is again rising above $55.00. Yes, that price was as high as $140.00 per barrel and it might get close to that level again, for no other reason than our troops are still fighting two wars within the Middle-East.
The right thing to do is to neutralize bin Laden and go home as soon as we can. As a matter of fact, the majority of the people within the United States of America support that course of action. So too, We People of the United States of America also support the creation of a “Green Friendly” economy that will stop our purchase of oil from Foreign sources.
There are plenty of worthwhile things that need to be done right here within our own Country. Yes, and we need to put an end to this economic depression as soon as we can.
