Why We Need Health-care Reform and Why The Conservative Movement is Bad for America

zOur health-care system is broken, and anyone saying the opposite are one of two kinds of people; either they have a vested interest in the outcome or they watch too much Fox News and are totally misguided.  The politicians, the lobbyists, and insurance CEO’s are people who will make more money if the health-care bill fails.  So because they have so much incentive to kill the health-care bill, that no matter what they say on the subject they are fully tainted for the rest of the debate.  You’ve got these long time Republican politicians and lobbyists trying to say, “Come on lets start over from scratch because Obamacare has been in the works for eight months and there aren’t enough Conservative ideals in the new billl, so lets start over and then we will all sit down and have an honest talk about what is going to be in this new bill.”  Just listening to someone like Dick Army and Bill Christal, to of the major Conservative lobbyists in charge of the fake grass routs movement in the U.S. called The Tea Partyers which originally were known as the Tea Baggers before they realized the sexual innuendo.  They are responsible for bringing you The ‘anti-Global Warming’ – lobby and The ‘Torture is morally okay and happens to be that it’s the best way to get intel.’ – lobby.  I guarantee even if your not in politics you have heard of them and/or the nonsense that they spew.

The anger from this group is so furious for one reason, and one reason only, yes like most of us that reasons is that they don’t have much money anymore and now ontop of that they have rising debt problems.  The Conservative sound machine, led by primarily Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, systematically whip there poor and homogeounous listeners into an anger fused rage that can’t nor will it be soothed.  These people not only will they stand up for what was and what is currently told to them through Fox News - but they will fight tooth and nail because of how scared they are mainly because Hannity, O’rielly, Beck and Limbaugh are filling their listener’s heads with utter nonsense, but because these listener’s minds are so easily altered that after only a few shows, guys like Beck, Hannity, Oreilly, and Limbaugh complete control over their political and moral outlook.  You should have seen a video clip of a guy at a Tea Party rally sits and with a sign saying how he has Parkinson’s desease.  And, because of the frenzy these people are whipped up into they attacked down upon him from all angles.  I’ll try my best to relay some of the dialogue word for word, “An’ what are you supposed to be?  You have Parkinson’s?  Well you are on the wrong side of the city for that kind of shit.  You aren’t going to get any damn handouts over here!”  Then a man walked over in a dress shirt and tie and proceeded to throw dollar bills at the poor man, about five or six of them, “Here, here are your handouts, i’ll pay for you.  Ill start the pot.”  Then at a Town Hall Meeting for a Senator, there was a woman there who had lost the use of her legs and now was reduced to peddling around in a wheelchair all because she wasn’t approved in time to get the surgery needed to save her legs, and now because of the severeness of the injury she was dropped and hasn’t been able to get health insurance back due to her pre-existing condition.  When she got the mike and began explaining her horror story to the crowd, they all booed, called her names, and called her a lier!  The crowd began to chant ‘liar’ so loudly that it drowned her words out and so she began to burst into tears.  Then lastly, a man who sounded as if he was channeling the one and only Rush Limbaugh through his body, because he turned toward someone who was videotaping and said one of the most hateful, racist, and downright meanest comments i have heard someone say in this day and age.  What bothered me the most was who he said it about,  someone like that poor, crippled, old lady who just wished to tell her story and on the outside chance that she convinced any body to change their minds, well then she would have been completely thrilled.  But, she was the person he was talking about when he said the disgusting comment, “Stupid lying cripple people!  I’ll be damned before i have less rights than a cripple!”  -No let that sink in…  This is how riled up Rush, Glenn and company want us to get, so that we completely leave our morals at home and all we bring is our anger toward the Democrats and their ideas, including health-care reform.
