Why We Should Ban Alcohol Ads

There have been many advertisements about alcohol. Many of these ads cause people to want to drink alcohol which causes illnesses and violence. Because of this, many recent acts of violence have been caused by alcohol. And so, believe that alcohol should be banned from sporting advertisements.

Firstly, alcohol in sporting ads causes influences to children. This is because they look up to these people. This will cause many future problems with a world with more violence. If we have more problems like this, Australia will be a place where people get drunk and be a violent place to live.

Secondly, ads are good at persuading and will cause adults to buy alcohol. Even though children’s role models are sportsmen and other famous people, parents will always be the role models of their children. This means if parents drink, kids will think that it is alright to drink beer. They would follow including their own children. This will make Australia be known as an alcoholic country and we don’t want that to happen. If we don’t want this to happen, we need to ban these advertisements

Thirdly, if you put alcohol in sporting ads, you would be damaging the reputation of Australia because the tourists see these ads. They would tell friends and family not to come to Australia. This would lower the amounts of tourists who come. The ads will make Australia lose its reputation. And so, we should ban these advertisements.

Because alcohol can make lives lost, people could get drunk and there could be a fight. If this happens, there would be violence and blood everywhere.  Australia is supposed to be a peaceful country and if violence happens, it will not be a peaceful place anymore and thus, we would have fewer immigrants. This cannot happen as Australia is a multicultural country. As you can see, this causes many things. We cannot let this happen in Australia and we should ban these ads.  

Lastly, alcohol can cause mental problems. It can also cause drowsiness, blindness and other effects which could cause many reactions. These things could be drowsiness, uncontrollable urination and other effects which could damage the drinker’s life. If this happens, the country would be full of sickness and we would be a place which is not safe. Australia needs to have more tourists. To come but this cannot happen if tell people to drink. This risk too many lives and because of alcohol, car crashes occur and they cause death. If we don’t be careful, Australia will not be safe. Therefore, these ads should be banned.

Alcohol is a well-known beverage in Australia. The problem with this is that people do not know what they are doing. They could get drunk if they don’t drink responsibly and unfortunately, most people don’t drink responsibly. They drink because of influence from advertisements. A lot of sportsmen drink alcohol and are looked up to.  This means that children will do the same. Sometimes, adults ask children to get a bottle of beer. Soon enough, he will do the same and it becomes a cycle. Damaging Australia’s reputation causes many negative effects like loss of tourists. They wouldn’t come to Australia because friends have seen sporting ads with alcohol making them think that citizens also drink as well. Lives are also taken because of alcohol. This is from car crashes and violence. Australia would not be safe anymore.  As you can see, Australia will not always be a safe place and we will have to ban alcohol from sporting ads. I strongly believe that alcohol should be banned from sporting ads.
