Will You Read This? Will You Care?

You see it on Television all the time, most of us ignore it. Not me I notice it all the time but not for the right reasons. An Advert will come on the TV asking you to sponsor a poor hungry child. There is nothing wrong with that I’m happy to help a person in need. I live in the UK and these adverts are never about Child Poverty in the UK and I know it exists because I’ve seen it first hand. The question I am asking is this, why does our Government always put the needs of others before there own?

They seem to be doing it which everything these days, housing, employment ect. Yes these poorer countries may need our help but what about the British public? I don’t know exactly what its like in the US but I recently saw a documentary called Poor America. Despite America being one of the riches countries in the world there are still millions of american citizens living in poverty, Children who’s parents couldn’t afford to feed them everyday.Yet like the United Kingdom they still give millions in foreign aid yet they can’t afford to help there own people.

I’m being to feel like the Government does care about its own anymore and are too busy bailing other countries out of debit and helping them feed their starving people, while we’re left to feed for yourselves.
