Wisdom Before Weapons

In this day and age, there are wars,rumours of wars, and death is rampant like the plague.                               I am not attacking the warriors that defend this country with their lives, but I am of the view that war should be only a last resort.

Some of the best words I ever heard in regards to this were “Wisdom before weapons.” We are made in the blessed image of God, and yet people are sooner to fight than love, they’re sooner to let hate consume them than to even think of peace.

War is a symptom of our fallen nature, but God wants better for us.

God is Love, as His children we should likewise reflect that. War is a scourge on humanity, hating your brother is as wicked as murder.

I know that war will probably plague humanity til judgment day, but as for me and my house, we shall be of peace.
