You Thought This Winter Was The Warmest Ever? You are Wrong!

             With beautiful weather in both March and February; most Americans would think this is the warmest winter in the history of the United States. Well most Americans are wrong this is not the warmest winter in history. We may have had barely any snow but there is three winters that are still much warmer than this one. The warmest winter ever recorded was the winter of 1999-2000 with 1998-1999 behind it and 1991-1992 behind that. So does that mean the world is coming to an end and global warming blahh blahh blahh. Well, since this is only the fourth warmest winter and nothing happened. I think we are all right. So experts have linked the warm winter to an atmospheric pressure pattern know as the Artic Oscillation which circles the Northern Hemisphere which then influences the jet stream. One thing I think we all can agree on is the fact that this winter was awesome with all this nice weather. The only downside? The fact that ticks and other insects are going to be in great numbers this winter.
