Your Thoughts are Priceless
How many of you are aware that what you think is what you do? Do you know that what you dwell on is what you attract; and it doesn’t have to be consciously? Do you know you can control those thoughts?
We hear it all the time from one person or place or another but the truth is “Your Thoughts Are Priceless.” The Government knows the truth of this as does every politician in the world; even sales people and advertisers knows it. Don’t you think it’s time to understand all of the circumstances and repercussions of it as well? Would it surprise you to know that God tried to tell us all in His Word how important our thoughts are; but it doesn’t stop with our thoughts? Oh no, our thoughts are the beginning; but it is the most important because when we learn to control one we can then learn to control the other. What other? We’ll study that later; right now most of you will be hard pressed to do this one first.
Many of us develop thought patterns from small childhood either through a parent or grandparent’s fears or through our own personal experiences or both. A Phobia is a deep seeded fear most of the time caused by traumatic experiences. To a small child many things are traumatic because it is usually shocking and or scary at the time; many will have no memory of the causes after the fact. Dealing with those are the hardest of all because most of us don’t want to face those fears and deal with them head on. Many people develop anxiety attacks when dealing with those fears which can become a dangerous situation if not controlled quickly. This type of reaction usually requires some sort of medical intervention.
Why do we need to face our fears? To prove to ourselves that there really is nothing to fear, but fear itself. Conquer the object you perceived to be the object of your fears and you will find nothing to be afraid of. We human beings spend more time worrying about what ifs on the negative side then focusing on the what could happen on the positive side of the same coin. Again, no one can change anything in their lives unless they truly want to change; no one can make these changes for you.
Everything we have today begun as someone’s thought. That thought became an idea and the idea became a reality. How do you think that came about? I guarantee you it weren’t easy with most people around them telling them they were crazy and it couldn’t be done. It didn’t stop them though because if it had we wouldn’t be able to do or have nearly what we do and have today. With every new development there were pessimists and loud mouth antagonists shouting discouragements and taunts at those who dared to think independently of others; not much has changed over the years except there are many more of them in the world today.
