Subject and Predicate

A sentence is divided into two parts—Subject and Predicate
The name of the person or thing we speak about is Subject.
What we speak about the subject is called the Predicate.

Example: The children/ are playing.

The first part of the sentence is subject.
And the second part of the sentence is predicate.

He                                          wants a book.
She                                         plays with a ball.
You                                        are an intelligent student.
Barking dogs                          seldom bite.
My friends                              will come tomorrow.
