Language Depending on Gender
The differences between males and females and how they communicate.
Men and women have many similarities but they both also have a lot of differences. Men talk more differently then women because men want to sound masculine and tough, unlike women who are polite and more feminine.
When boys are born, they are introduced to things that a boy is supposed to like such as cars and sports, unlike girls who are supposed to be more feminine and like girl things such as dresses and dolls. Some differences between a boy and a girl are the types of friends they choose. A boy may play with a large group of other kids, while a girl would only play with her two best friends.
The popularity of a person may differ depending on their gender, if they are a boy or a girl. A boy may be popular if he plays sports and knows a lot about sports, while a girl could be popular if she looks pretty or dates a person who is already popular. The similarity of a boy and a girl in this area is if a boy has a lot of friends, he is very popular, which is the same with the girls also.
Men and women have very different ways to communicate with the same gender. For example, a man would call some of his best friends and ask him if they want to hang out and watch a football game, in contrast to a girl, who would just talk gossip on the phone with her best friends. A similarity that they both have is that they may talk about things they are more comfortable talking to their friends of the same gender, than talking about them around a person of the opposite gender.
In conclusion, men and women have many similarities of how they talk and interact with other genders, but they also have many similarities with the opposite sex.
