Language Teaching Proposal
An extract of a proposal.
I like to work with small groups. This gives the student some courage in approaching a conversation as he can listen and absorb not only what he hears from his coach but also from his colleagues.
For those people who are just beginning the learning process, there are exercises that I do to get individuals up to par with others who have already had some language training before coming to class. This would be done to accommodate the specific work place that would group individuals into groups for language learning.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of groups in different teaching environments and have grown with the experience that different industries need a different approach. Most often the individual needs to enjoy the experience of language learning be it through conversational exercises, repetitive exercises or through interesting readings and discussions. One activity tends to compliment the other and has been called “traditional” as opposed to a natural approach. I would work towards finding the most suitable method for a working environment.
Most often language learning opens up the students mind to new ways of thinking about the world around him and specifically about the society in which he lives as he learns to express his thoughts that he may not have done as consciously in his own native language and he is appreciative of the experience.

thanks for this point of view.
i do believe that “no man is an island”. men funtions more efficiently when in constant communication with another being. it allows them to be more than who they are, be able to access their hidden self.
