*Quick Tip: Filipinos often use the courteous word “Po.” Use “Po” at the end of your statements to express respect or to say things more politely*
Common Answers:
O-o = Yes (*Opo – polite form of “Yes” said to elders or superiors)
Hindi = No
Wala = None
Mabuti = Good
Masama = Bad

Iyan = That (with you)
Iyon = That (over there)
Mga ito = These
Mga iyan = Those (with you)

Akin = Mine
Kanya = His / Hers
Kanila = Theirs
Atin = Ours
Ako ito = It’s me. / This is me.
