In today’s global economy it is necessary to know at least two languages fluently.The first
language that you learn from the time you are born is refereed to as your native tongue.You learn to Speak,Read,
and Write this language.For myself and my wife we learned English. My second language was French. I happen to be
from Canada.Fortunately We live in Calgary,Alberta,Canada and they do not require this side of Canada to know French as the people’s second language. I found the French language very difficult to learn and did not like it at all.My wife, on the other hand came from Texas She had to learn to Speak,Read,and Write in Spanish,She needed to have two years of any of the Romantic Languages in High School.She says that Spanish is very phonetic and that all nouns are categorized as a male or female.For example,house in Spanish is , and a book in Spanish is .My wife got her first job in San Antonio,Texas teaching Spanish speaking children how to Read,Write, and .She had to know both languages in order to communicate with these children and their parents.25 years later she still teaches English to many people from diverse cultural backgrounds.Her clients come from French Canada, Korea, Jordan, and even Istanbul.She has taught children as young as 4—adult how to Read,Write and Speak,English. She says it takes many years to learn a language fluently.You need a lot of patience and repetition.Anybody can learn another language.Your getting a good job will definitely increase as well as your pay.
