Logical Language in Domestic Stage of Conversation

Logical thinking is expressed in language by sentences and complex sentences. This translation for someone else of the inner thought results, among others, in the transition from intution to discourse, from vague complexes to exact steps.

This translation for someone else of the inner thought results, among others, in the transition from intuition to discourse, from vague complexes to exact steps. Of course, we may well register losses from the bulk of the initial meaning, but there is an undeniable gain as to the configuration, which is materialized by speaking or writing, and thus becomes a visible and analysable object. Those who aspire after a more objective research of the logic will feel attracted by the logical analysis of language and will try to circumscribe the object of logic to this domain.

Semiotics is the theory of signs, and it has three branches: syntax, semantics and pragmatics.

From the point of view of systematizing the investigation, the system of signs has three dimensions: the relations of signs with the objects they designate, the relation of signs with the subject who employs them. The discipline that contains all the tree aspects of semiotic research, but with, special emphasis on the relation sign- subject, is the pragmatical logic. The research in pragmatics, making use of complex notion like acceptation, performance, conviction, linked together in a large psychological, biological, and social context, though incipient, is promising. In everyday life, we do our best to acquire convictions, not to suggest simple temporary opinions; and convictions imply a complex psycho-social origin.

If we rule out the relations of signs with the subject, we get the logical semantics, which insist, on the relations signs-objects.

By also removing the relations of signs with the objects, we finally get the logical syntax, for which only the relation among signs are relevant.
