Slum Dog
New word to be added to the English dictionary.
India is the most versatile, multicultural, and multi faced country.
People here are full of joy, pain, struggles, emotions, sentiments, brotherhood, zeal.we have lived a life of slavery for about 100 years and with a great difficulty and courage we could come out of it. We learned to live, we created history, we fought with others, we fought with ourselves, and we fought with the cruel traditions of society.
We grew up, we brought the humanity back, and we have touched the heights of excellence.
We provide services to the leading MNCs
We work our asses off to give the best to the world
This is a country where rich becomes richer and the poor becomes worse
I see people, who spend thousands and thousands on their puppies b’day bash and I see people who don’t even have few rupees to even buy bread for one meal.
I see people living in start hotels, wasting money on unnecessary lavish luxuries and I also see people who can’t even cover their body with proper clothing
I see people living in multi storied building
one floor for wife, one for the husband, one for the kid, one for the dog’s poop, and for what not and they don’t even realize that there are people around who live in place which is much more smaller than their bath rooms, there are people who don’t even have roof on top.
it’s all because ,the educated , people study in India, take the Indian money fetch their degree work for other countries earn in dollars and show off their dollars to the Realtors and get their lavish bungalows built under the tears and cries of “slum dogs”
Right the “slum dog”, Indians who live in the slums, now on they will be called as slum dogs
such a shame,I heard an radio jockey announcing it on the air yesterday don’t know how true is that, but I felt bad that he proudly announced it that it’s going to be the ten lace tenth word in the English dictionary
According to 1991 census, English is official language of India, with about ninety million speakers
And look what reward we get

I agree with what you have said ‘the inequality, that prevails between the haves and the have nots. The gap should be narrowed; but it can be done only by a strong will coupled with political power. But the reality is only from the ‘haves’ we have our MPs and MLAs,; will they do it?Hence, the system needs a overhauling;only those people who are educated, who are service oriented, who believe in bridging the gap mentioned above, should become the rulers or we should have the opportunity to elect them. Are we dreaming ? are we have only wishful thinking; only time will tell. The situation has to become worse and intolerable; we can then foresee all kind of momentum moving forward.until then we have to wait.patiently wait. how long? you may ask? who knows ?Thank you for submitting a thought-provoking article.

Such sharp contrasts… very sad… it seems very true in India, but gaps exist the world over, too, unfortunately.
