Studying, Learning and Writing English

I like writing, and I think it’s fun. Writing gives you many benefits like for example you can learn from your mistakes on grammatical errors and the more you write the more your English improves. You don’t just write if you want to improve your English. You also have to read a lot of books to improve your English. You don’t just look at your exercise book or textbook to study. That won’t teach you anything you’ll just study the same thing over and over again. You will just be excellent in grammar, and comprehension but your composition will be like rubbish! That is why you have to read books and newspapers if possible. The most important thing about studying English is that you have to read books and newspapers.

For spelling you need to know the word and how to use the word in the sentence. It’s no use just by memorizing the spelling by not knowing the word and how to use it in a sentence. So that’s why people invent the book dictionary. It’s supposed to guide you on how to use that particular word in a sentence, know its meaning, how to pronounce it and its spelling. You can improve your vocabulary by reading the books and by reading newspapers like I mentioned earlier. Now I know someone who’s in Year 7 that doesn’t even know how to spell basic words like coil, pounce and etc. I was shocked that he couldn’t even spell basic words and what’s worse is that he doesn’t even bother to study his English. So if you want to end up stupid and not know the basic words of English then well… I wish you the best of luck on surviving in this dangerous and huge world that we live in. I don’t  know what you’ll be when you grow up… I’m guessing a homeless person. If you don’t want to be a homeless person then I suggest you study your English!

Now the next thing that I will include in this article is about how you write your composition. For continuous writing you need to leave a space when you want to start a new paragraph. Always keep that in mind, and also never leave space between lines it’s wrong. If you are typing on a computer like I am, then it’s ok not to leave a space between the margin and leave lines. Like how I’m writing those two paragraphs above. It’s really important not to leave lines and always leave an inch of space between your paper margin and the word that you were going to write. If you want to be a writer then I suggest you don’t leave a gap between your old and new paragraph because that is wrong, and always leave a space between the word and the margin and don’t forget to give your composition a title.

Don’t forget that English is a common language all over the globe and it’s the only way how foreign people contact with each other. If you have very good English then these are the jobs that you can apply for like for example: A Journalist, A news agent, Interpreter, Historian, Librarian, Author, Composer and many more fascinating jobs that you can apply for. That’s why it’s really important to study English. You’ll be lost if you go overseas and you don’t know any English. English maybe the easiest language to study if you put your heart into studying English. If you only know how to speak your local language then I suggest you learn English as your second language.
