The German Language Means War Talk?
Reading things on the web makes me think. Some American people think the German language is a great connection to the Second worldwar, and that’s really bad. Here’s why.
Germany had one bad dictator. The dictator named Hitler, one angry man who misleaded the German people. They followed him without seeing the truth. That’s sad, but the past is the past. People make mistakes. What happend in the past can’t be turned on the language of today. But that’s what can happen sometimes while speaking to people about the German language.
To be honest, I think the German language is a very beautiful language, but it can be a harsh one. Sometimes it’s a very nice language to use angry words. Scheiße! or Durch laufen!! is really nice to say in Harsh German. But I do NOT make a connection to the war, but people who doesn’t think make that connection. The Germans aren’t responsible for the way their ancestors behaved/choosed or followed a bad man. When an English dictator started the war, English might be connected to the harsh usage while the war.
So, to conclude: German isn’t a warlanguage. It can be a beautiful language, with nice pronounciations (like the ß or sch). It has it’s harsh parts, but that’s what creats a language.
