The Word is Brunt!
The slaughter of English. Why have we become so lazy, that we think that if we use a word often enough, it will become accepted? I hope not.
I have had more then enough of hearing the slaughter of the English Language. the word “Butt” is now being used for the word, “BRUNT”. A news reporter stated, ” Jon & Kate are not the “BUTT” of jokes.”
STOP the NONSENSE, PLEASE. If we are going to enlighten the younger generation, we have to present an example of some kind of knowledge. Brunt is the word to use, as in the receiver, focus, or one who carries the burden of something. “BRUNT”, PLEASE.
There is no reason or explanation for the use of the word, “BUTT”. If anyone can find a reasonable theory for the use of this stupid presentation, please let me know, since I am rapidly filling a large book with these stupid references.
My next rampage will reference the stupid word, “THINGIES”.
