Tongue Twisters
My collection of Tongue Twisters.
Do you think you can say a few similar words together in a phrase over and over again very quickly without stumbling? Nobody can. Except for the abnormal. Like my sister.
Here’s my collection of tongue twisters. Try all of them out. Some of them you may know, some of them you may not. Whatever the fact is, go for it! And remember to say it over and over again and very quickly until you mess up-
‘Red lorry, Yellow lorry’
‘Truly rural’
‘Lemon linement’
‘How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? … It would chuck as much as a wood chuck could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood.’
‘Betty bought some butter. But the butter was bitter. So Betty bought some bitter butter to make the bitter butter better.’
‘Can you can a can as fast as a canner can can a can?’
‘She sells sea shells by the sea shore, and the shells she sells are surely seashells, so if she sells shells by the sea shore, I’m sure she sells seashore shells.’
Ok.. this next one is in Hindi, but I’ll give English pronunciations-
‘Kaccha papad, Pakka papad.’
(Ka-cha pa-pod, Pak-aa pa-pod)
‘Black bug’s blood.’
‘Ed had edited it.’
‘We shall surely see the Sun shine soon.’
‘Cheap ship trip.’
And the last one-
‘Selfish, shellfish.’
Those were the ones I could think of. Be sure to try them out and please give me feedback! Thanks!
