What is The Meaning of

JFGI means, “Just F*cking Google It”.

I mean, why ask a question anymore? When you can simply google it and get your answer that way?

I do admit to feeling embarrassed at times to ask a question that everyone seems to know. It’s easier to just wait until I get home, or better yet use my cell phone to ask Google my question. Now there is even a saying to “just google it” and not personally ask a human being!

Though in the world’s view, I am still young and in my twenties, I didn’t grow up with the internet like today’s youth have. The internet blossomed when I was in Jr. High School. I remember the days when the internet was still new and exciting. On the other hand, today’s Jr. High School students were moving a mouse before they could even read. I work with students on a daily basis and I hear the kids say the letters, “W-T-F?” (What the F*ck) and “S-T-F-U!” (Shut the F*ck Up). It’s the new way to cuss without actually cussing, since it is probably unacceptable to do so at school.

I wonder if others like me have asked Google questions that no one can answer? Like, “What should I do with my life?” or “Why did my brother have to die?”. It’s almost theraputic to type those kinds of questions in thin narrow box and see the thousands of hits it gets and see what I can find. Believe it or not, I usually always find something comforting. Thanks, Google.

I guess I’m old fashioned and enjoy the in person time spent with friends, and the exciting discussions we have with even the stupid questions. While I’ll admit to have used “WTF?!?!” on occasion, I doubt I myself will personally ever use “JFGI”!
