Why The Middle Finger Means The F Word When Stuck Up by Itself

When somebody gives you the middle finger do you ever wonder why they do this how it started or when it started?

  It actually started back in the early 1700’s when people who disobeyed thier kings or didn’t follow the rules.  People were sentenced to getting thier middle finger cut off. Before it was going to get cut off they would say F you. In about 4 or 5 years from when this started they began to do this when they got mad but they didn’t direct it at anyone. This began to get more and more popular throughout the years. Back then poeple did it so much that it began to get unpopular. it started going out of style the people got in trouble or disrespected when they swore. Eventually people brought back the middle in the Late 1700’s when people started pointing the finger at others and people got very unhappy with this. people who very much didrespected this went to leader alone and in groups complaining about this. The middle finger was banned for a short period of time but the law was sson forgot about when people broke the laws.
