There are few real words in English that contain no vowels. Vowels are very important in words, because they control how the letters around them sound and how they are pronounced. The vowels are: a, e, i, o, and u.

    All of those words have vowels remember the saying; A, E, I, O, U, and sometimes Y

    Agree with the comment above! However, I am sure, it is possible to find many abbreviations without vowels (P.S., SQL, KGB), or exclamatory words, such as pst, grrr, etc.
