2011 Miss America

The newest winner of a the pagent was crowned today.

The newest Miss America has been elected to her position for the future new year.  This 17 year old Nebraska native can now add to her bubbly resume “youngest Miss America” in the past 90 years.  It is also the first time that a gal from Nebraska won the prize.  After a  rousing round of bikini walking,  elegant dress wearing, talent showing, and question answering, Teresa Scanlan won the contest and will be awarded a $50,000 scholarship.  Her intention is to attend Law school after her year as Miss America.

During the round of questioning Teresa claimed that the public should not have access to information.  In her eyes security is first and foremost.  She feels that it’s better to keep people in the dark than to up hold the constitution and keep their rights sacred.  Of course as this country was founded on the idea that freedoms should reign free, one has to allow statements of the such to exist.

Congratulations Teresa Scanlan, Hope you can bring some level of honor to this role model position that has so little  honor to begin with.
