Loved it. (although it just confirms how crazy Americans really are… seeing as most of the laws are in the USA). In Australia it is a criminal offence to Commit Suicide. If you Commit Suicide you will be sent to jail! It is also a criminal offence to wear a flannel shirt and a woollen cap in the city… or at least it should be!

There was a show on Canadian tv years ago called “This is the Law,” where a panel would try to guess the crazy law enacted in a short video clip. One nutty one I remember was it is illegal (somewhere) to change gears while crossing a railroad track.

As a former Calgarian, I love the one about hitching posts for horses. During Stampede week this is likely quite handy. I remember hitching posts there during my childhood. Most people used them for bicycle racks.

It amazes me how stupid laws can get. Who ever comes up with most of them doesn’t think about what they’re actually saying. You know people break them all the time because they don’t know that they exsist. You just can’t take them seriously But I must say, I find stupid laws quite amusing! A town in Alabama doesn’t allow people to wear heals.

These are great. I suppose that when these laws were passed they seemed OK, but now they are just fun to read. Be careful someone will try to make trouble for you with one of these old-out-dated laws.

In Memphis Tn its a law that any man, when his wife is driving, must run in front of her waving a red flag in warning to other drivers. Sexist much? Funny too, tho so I thought I’d share. Men, plz don’t make me regret it….
