Accidents: Be careful; life is a blessing

It just ticked my mind to write on the topic “Accidents: Be careful; life is a blessing”. No doubt life is a blessing bestowed by Almighty Allah. Each and every part of our body has its own importance. Accidents taking place in our lives play havoc and bring big losses. Everyday, hundreds of road traffic accidents and other machinery mishaps happen to occur. These accidents can be checked if we care for our lives!

If you want to know the importance of eyes, ask to a blind who might have lost his/her eyes in an accident or he/she was born blind. What painful it is that he/she can’t enjoy the beauty of the universe! Similarly, importance of the hand can be better remarked by a poor one who have lost his hand while cutting fodder for cattle with chaff cutter machine. Ask the importance of legs from a boy who lost his both legs in a car accident. How crippled this type of life is; better know the poor ones who have had it. It is blessing of Allah Almighty, take care of it.

These days, motor bike and car accidents are being reported excessively. In motor bike accident or car accidents, many people lose their body parts and become crippled. Many of them even kick the bucket before reaching the hospital. All this happens because of over-speed or carelessness. Allah Almighty knows well about all these accidents, but being careful is the responsibility of each and every individual. Otherwise, no one other will be saving you from being damaged! So, be careful while riding a bike; be careful while driving a car; and be careful while walking along the road!

There are some accident photos of the poor patients who were admitted to my surgical ward. These accident photos are only being uploaded to make people careful.

(This poor man was working at an oil pressing machine and got his foot caught in it accidently and we had to plan for the foor amputation. May Allah Almighty bless him with His Special favors and make his life easy for him!)

(This poor boy was cutting fodder on a chaff cutter machine and got caught his left hand it it. And, unfortunately, we had to amputate his left hand. May Allah Almighty bless him with His Special favors and make his life easy for him!)

There are hundreds of such cases which we have delt with, but I don’t have the photos of all those. The purpose of this article was to be careful and take care of yourself! Life is precious and God bestowed; look after it!
