Christian Vigilantism?
A topic you’ve probably never heard anyone talk about. That’s because people in high places are too afraid to lose support for speaking their minds on tough topics. If no one else will tackle this issue, then I figure it’s up to me. What IS Christian Vigilantism?

What is justice? Perhaps that is a question we do not ask ourselves often enough in modern American society. And if we do, then it is not in the way the forefathers of this nation did almost 150 years ago. Did they not know what they were talking about? These men were almost all strong leaders of Christianity who acted outside the law to bring justice to this land. They essentially acted as vigilantes protecting Christianity in America. Children are taught today to idolize these men, but in a bitter irony, to hate modern-day vigilantes who act out of faith.
Can justice only be achieved through the American court system? We all hear stories of drug offenders getting off, murderers being set free, the innocent being convicted, and prison escapes. One in every two released prisoners will return to prison within three years of release. Sixty percent of rapes go unreported. There are clearly problems with the American judicial system. While politicians argue amongst themselves trying to assuage these problems, it is our duty as human beings and as citizens to see justice done. If the law fails, then it is the people’s duty to act outside of that law in order to achieve a just society, according to the social contract theorists. Therefore, when the law fails to protect a man’s individual rights, it is his duty to become a vigilante and take the law into his own hands. Vigilantism is NOT “cowboy justice” however. In its proper form, it is the systematic dealing of punishment to offenders, in a method like a government would use.
The truth of the matter is our rights are NOT being protected by the law. The law is failing, and government is systematically restricting our God-given rights, while removing morality from law. Every human being has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in this country. Right? Every human has the right to life. Why then, each day in America, is there a holocaust of 5000 unborn children in abortion clinics throughout the country? Innocent children are deprived of the right to live before they even get a chance at life. They are defenseless, as we all will be if our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms is taken away. Criminals will not voluntarily turn in their weapons. On the contrary, what we need is community vigilante committees patrolling the streets in high-crime areas, armed with a means to defend themselves and to uphold the values of this dear nation.

I am a believer in Christ but I do have exceptions when it comes to abortion rights, gay rights, and our right in faith being taken away by the government. They can’t do nothing about anything. Pimps are holding women hostage everyday and politicians are having a big feast at the white house. Christians are always spiteful against abortion and homosexuality, they plot to commit murder. That’s not vigilantism, that’s just pure God-forbidden murder. We need to depart from that aspect of the bibile because I believe God is trying to test us and we must really love each other (and not in that way you think). If there is anything we should go vigilante against it should be our own government and the criminals. If my plans don’t happen in my future, I would fight all the pimps and human traffickers in this country and all around the world. If there was no suffering there would be no compassion, but there are some that can take action and I intend to do so.
