A brief summary of a Colorado Law that was passed in 2004 on energy.

In 2004 Colorado voters passed a law saying that the state’s largest utilities must obtain 3 percent of their electricity from renewable recourses by 2007. An advantage to this policy is 10% of energy used by the utilities will be solar energy. An individual who supported this policy was Republican Rep. Lola Spradley, from the state house. She attempted to propose a law before this, about renewable energy, but it failed. Also, Sustainable Energy Coalition, because their job is to support renewable energy at a national level. 48% of Colorado voters opposed this law on the ballet.
